Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prolong the life of an incandescent electric lamp for an automobile.
CONSTITUTION: From the initial stage, constant aging voltage is applied to make a single coil type filament 8 be recrystallization temperature or higher, so that the coil pitch of the filament 8 is made dense in the center part and sparse in both end parts. Consequently, since the temperature in both end parts of the single coil type filament does not become so much high as compared with that in the center part, rupture occurring possibility of both end parts of the single coil type filament is remarkedly decreased and thus the life of an incandescent lamp for an automobile is extended.
