A tip end part of the rolled material S located on an inlet side of the rolling mill 10 is photographed by an image pickup device 2 to obtain an image, and an incident angle of the rolled material S in a roll bite of the rolling mill 10 is obtained from a position of the rolled material S in the acquired image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
