To provide a incinerating-cum-metal melting furnace in which a combustible treating material can be fully incinerated and further the metal is melted by utilizing waste heat from incineration.

This furnace is provided with a retort furnace 1 for dry distillation and gasification of the combustible treating material, a combustion chamber 3 for burning the gas generated in the retort furnace 1, a melting chamber 7 into which the high temp. exhaust gas developed with the combustion in the combustion chamber 3 is introduced and which is provided with melting burners for further heating this high temp. exhaust gas, a hopper 16 for charging the metal into this melting chamber 7 and a tapping hole 20 for discharging the molten metal from the bottom part of the melting chamber 7.
