Title:
INCINERATING AND MELTING FURNACE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3048298
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To do stable operation control even for waste such as shredded materials of automobiles and the like in which non-ignitable materials and ignitable materials are mixed at a variable mixing ratio and further to contribute to energy saving.
CONSTITUTION: In view of the fact that ignitable material is relatively light in weight and non-ignitable material is metal which is relatively heavy in weight, a selection means 1 for classifying waste such as shredded dusts of vehicles and the like into light weight material 13 and heavy weight material 12 is provided as a selecting means for selecting or classifying the waste into ignitable material and non-ignitable material in rough manner. There are provided a heavy weight material melting furnace part 2 where the heavy weight non-ignitable material 12 is melted on the furnace floor 3 and a light weight material incinerator part 4 where the light weight material 13 of ignitable material is ignited so as to produce combustion discharged gas 14, wherein the furnace floor 3 is shared by both heavy weight material melting furnace part 2 and the light weight material incinerator part 4. In addition, the heavy weight material 12 at the heavy weight material melting furnace part 2 is melted with combustion discharged gas 14 discharged from the light weight material incinerator part 4 so as to make slag in an incineration and melting furnace.
