Title:
INCINERATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001082720
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To increase diffusing velocity of a combustion, flame, suppress incomplete combustion and reduce unburnt components in a discharged gas by permitting an electric field to work on the inside of an incinerator which has a function of controlling combustion with the electric field.

An input terminal 2 of a high pressure unit 1 is connected to a power source unit through wiring which supplies current of 100 V only when an incinerator is in operation. An anode output terminal 5 and a cathode output terminal 6 are, respectively, connected to an anode discharge portion 9 and a cathode discharge portion 10, at an output of 7,500 V for instance. An output side ground terminal 7 and an input side ground terminal 2 are altogether or singly grounded through an ground rod. When the manual switch of the unit 1 is turned on, corona discharge occurs between the anode discharge portion 9 and the cathode discharge portion 10 to cause variation in a combustion phenomenon. Thus the flame color turns white and one can observe a condition where there is little flickering, which results in generation of no soot.
