Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inclinable headrest in which a pillow part has a good external appearance, inclination angle of the pillow part can be adjusted smoothly and surely in an economical manner, and a good appearance can be provided when in use.
SOLUTION: This headrest is provided with an outer cover 21, stays 31, one of the ends of each of the stays being passed through the bottom 22 of the cover 21 so as to be inserted into the interior of the cover 21, an inclining device 41 attached to the end of the stay 31, a cylindrical expanded body 51, which is mainly composed of a closed cell foam and mounted to the outer surface of the stay 31 between the inner surface of the bottom of the cover 21 and the device 41, and an expanded body 61 for a pillow part filled within the cover 21. And a slit 53 is formed in a portion of the bottom 22 of the cover where the stay 31 projects and in the side surface of the cylindrical expanded body 51 to allow a back and forth movement of the stay 31 with respect to the pillow part 11.
