PURPOSE: To avoid complexity of the circuit configuration by making the motor driving circuit used for the optical pickup of the optical disc player operate with single power supply.

CONSTITUTION: When the voltage of the input signal exceeds the primary prescribed value, the primary active element Q1 operates and activates the 6th active element Q9, and the current from the tertiary active element Q5 to the 6th active element Q9 flows through a motor 5. And, the motor 5 revolutes, for instance, in the positive direction. When the voltage of the input signal does not reach the second prescribed value which is set lower than the primary prescribed value, the second active element Q2 operates, and the current from the 5th active element Q8 to the 4th active element Q6 flows in the motor 5, and the motor revolutes in the inverse direction.
