Abstract:

To provide an inclination sensor capable of detecting inclinations in the six directions using a simple structure.

The inclination sensor includes: a housing having an octahedral cavity inside; substantially spherical conductor, conductive powder, or conductive liquid, moving in the housing; and four electrodes formed on two faces facing each other in parallel, and two faces adjacent to one of the two facing each other in parallel, among from the eight faces forming the octahedron, and thus the inclination state is detected by detecting the conducting states of the electrodes.
