PURPOSE: To detect car inclination from a stop state by mounting the titled sensor on a vehicle composing the sensor of the 1st and the 2nd pendulums held turnably along a center shaft and detecting the turning states of those two pendulums.

CONSTITUTION: The pendulums 1 and 2 are held turnably on the same center shaft 3. The pendulum 1 is constituted as a housing which has a claw 4 for rotation prevention formed arcuately about the center shaft at an upper part and a couple of right and left weights 5 formed arcuately about the center shaft 3 at a lower part. A microswitch 6 is provided at the center position between the right and left weights 5 under the pendulum 1. The switch 6 contacts sliding electrodes 8a and 8b through sliding contacts 7a and 7b when an actuator is pressed in. A weight 9 is provided under the pendulum 2. A lock plate 10 is provided opposite the rotation preventive claw 4 at the upper part of the pendulum 1 to fix the pendulum 1.
