Abstract:

To provide a highly reliable inclination and vibration detector whose structure is simplified without using expensive materials and which hardly malfunctions due to vibration or shock other than those for detection.

This detector is provided with a nonmagnetic container 4 having a main space 10 and a sub space 11, a spherical soft magnetic body 2 which is housed within the main space 10 and is freely movable due to inclination or vibration, a direct-acting permanent magnet 3 which is freely movable linearly within the sub space 11, and an electromagnetic conversion element. When the spherical soft magnetic body 2 is at a specified position, the direct-acting permanent magnet 3 constrains the spherical soft magnetic body 2 magnetically, and when it is out of the specified position, the magnet 3 moves in the sub space 11 and it gives a change in magnetic flux to the element 1.
