Title:
INCLINED CUTTING MECHANISM FOR PORTABLE CIRCULAR SAW
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3535048
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable circular saw excellent in operability without a conventional problem of poor operability which has the necessity for changing an inclination at a frequently used standard angle (generally 45°) in the case of inclining to a lager angle from the standard angle of inclination in an inclined cutting mechanism for inclining a circular saw body to the left or right in the cutting direction to perform so-called diagonal cutting.
SOLUTION: A stopper 17 for regulating the moving end of a locking screw 14 is rotatably provided at a guide plate. The stopper 17 is rotatably operated to change into a first stopper position for regulating the moving end of the locking screw 14 to 45° and into a second stopper position for allowing movement into an inclined position with an angle (50°, for instance) larger than 45°.
