Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inclined flight conveyor that prevents an overload for stable automated operation.
SOLUTION: An inclined fight conveyor has a construction, in which the load-conveying plane of a trough 1 forms a horizontal load-conveying plane 1a, a corner load-conveying lane 1b and a skew load-conveying plane 1c transitionally, a right and left pair of chains 2 and 3 is held turntable in the trough 1, a plurality of flights 4 is wound about the left and right chains 2 and 3, and a right and left pair of guide rails 5 and 6 is arranged on the interior angle side of the load-conveying chains 2UP and 3UP out of the chains 2 and 3 passing along the corner load-conveying plane 1b so that the flights 4 are guided along the corner load-conveying plane 1b. The right and left guide rails 5 and 6 are held freely swingable toward or away from the corner load- conveying plane 1b. The flight conveyor is further provided with a pressing means to press the right and left guide rails 5 and 6 to the corner load- conveying plane 1b.
