Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the precision of the incomplete combustion preventing device by providing an electronic circuit for opening and closing an electromagnetic valve by a difference in electromotive force between a main thermocouple and an reverse bias thermocouple.

CONSTITUTION: At the time where the concentration of oxygen is lowered or fins are clogged, electromotive forces generated by a main thermocouple 2 and an reverse bias thermocouple act to reduce the difference between thermoelectromotive forces similarly as the conventional example. When the difference in the electromotive forces becomes smaller than the voltage at both ends of a resistor rx, when the potential on the non-inversion input side becomes lower than that on the inversion input side, the output of an operational amplifier IC becomes low, and no current flows to an electromagnetic valve 7. Thus, the valve 7 is closed and the gas is interrupted and the incomplete combustion is prevented. A factor affecting the operation of the incomplete combustion preventing device mostly consists of the main thermocouple 2 and the reverse bias thermocouple 5 and the precision is improved. Further, the electromagnetic valve 7 carries out an ON-OFF operation and the value of a separated current scarecely affect the operation of the incomplete combustion preventing device.
