Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with improved workability which can be connected with few operation without changing the position of fingers holding the connector when connecting connector housings with each other and proceeding to the next operation.
SOLUTION: When connecting a pair of female and male connectors 40, 50 with each other, the state of incomplete fitting of the female and male connector housings 40, 50 can be easily detected from that a fitting detection member 60 mounted to a connector housing 40 can slide and move to the optimum fitting detection position or not. Further, a detection member moving operation, making the fitting detection member 60 slide and move to the optimum fitting detection position, and an operation, confirming the state of mutual fitting of the housings by pulling the female and male housings 40, 50 in the direction of separating them from each other, can be done at one time, by setting the optimum fitting detection position of the fitting detection member 60 at the part getting near to the rear end part of the housing against the initial position.
