To provide an independent suspension device capable of suppressing any unnecessary rotational moment when an air spring demonstrates shock-absorbing effect while ensuring a turning angle of a steering wheel to a maximum, and preventing any partial wear of a bush attributable to the moment, accordingly.
The turning angle of front wheels 5 is ensured to a maximum by offsetting a center Cas of an air spring 6 with respect to a center Ckp of a king pin 4 (the center axis of the front wheels 5). The rotational moment in the reverse direction to the air spring 6 is generated by a shock absorber 7 during the input from a road surface by offsetting a center Csa of a lower end 7a of the shock absorber 7 connected to a knuckle support 3 with respect to the center Ckp of the king pin 4 backward of a vehicle body. The rotational moment of the air spring 6 is reduced thereby to suppress the torsion of an upper arm 1 and a lower arm 2.
