Abstract:
To lower a height of an index plunger.SOLUTION: In a pin 9 or a body 2, a ball storage hole 13 is provided, and in the ball storage hole 13, a ball 14 and a spring 17 are stored. On an inner peripheral surface of an open hole 8 provided in the body 2 or an outer peripheral surface of the pin 9, a first groove 15 and a second groove 16 are provided. When the pin 9 is moved to a position, relative to the body 2, at which a tip of the pin is projected from the body 2 by a predetermined amount, the ball 14 energized by the spring 17 is engaged to the first groove 15, and the pin 9 is locked to the body 2 at a corresponding position. On the other hand, when the pin 9 is moved toward a direction where the tip is dragged into the body 2 from the position at which the tip is projected from the body 2 by a predetermined amount, the ball 14 energized by the spring 17 is engaged with the second groove 16, and the pin 9 is locked to the body 2 at a corresponding position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
