A plurality of thin type index wheels 12 made by resin injection molding are laminated, held between a base disk 13 and a cover disk 14 and are fixed by a screw 18. A screw inserting hole of the thin index wheel 12 is of a long arc shape in the circumferential direction, the rotational angles of respective laminated index wheels 12 are shifted, whereby helical grooves 15 of respective index wheels 12 are made to form one continuous groove. This machine is applicable to the nails having various lengths by changing the number of the thin type index wheel 12.
