Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform an efficient coating processing and attempt an increased productivity at a reduced cost, relating to a device in which tablets are coated with gelatin, by installing an engagement means for tablets to engage with a carrier plate. CONSTITUTION: A tablet 10 to be coated with gelatin is fed from a tube 84 of a feeder 80 to a holder 30 the first plate 50 which is transported by a conveyor to a vacuum chamber 60 to generate vacuum within the holder 30. The late 50 is immersed in an immersion tank 120 to form a coating on the tablet 10 and then shift in a drier 130 to harden the coating. The second plate 50's is matched to the first plate 50 and after turning over the plates the first plate is taken off. Then the second plate 50's is transported to the starting position of the immersion step to effect coating on the uncoated part of the tablet 10.
