PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive indicating device with a simple structure, capable of precisely indicating a tilting angle of a headlight.

CONSTITUTION: This indicating device 20 is inserted into a housing 25 on a headlight frame 21 with a slip fit, and, once inserted, is automatically locked in place. The indicating device 20 is equipped with a bubble level. The level is equipped with a transparent container 30 integrally molded with a base 38. The base 38 together with the container 30 is assembled with a holding bracket 40 with a slip fit. The holding bracket 40 holds the indicating device 20 in the housing 25 in cooperation with the base 38. In addition, the holding bracket 40 can tilt the container 30 upward and downward relative to the horizontal in cooperation with an adjusting screw 45. Thereby, zero adjustment of a bubble 33 is made possible.
