Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate an adverse effect due to disturbance light by rotating an indicating device main body to the driver's seat side, based on at least either one of information from a traveling condition detecting means and operation of a control switch.
SOLUTION: A display 7, which is placed on the upper part of an instrument panel of a vehicle, is erected by a pop-up motor 17 and is rotated to the driver's seat side by a motor for rotation 18. Both pop-up motor 17 and motor for rotation 18 are driven by driving circuits 29, 30. Based on at least one of information from control switches 27, 28, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44 and a car speed sensor 32 and that from the operation of the control switch, a central controller 31 controls the driving circuits 29, 30 so as to rotate an indicating device main body to the driver's seat side. Thus, an adverse effect due to disturbance light can be eliminated.
