Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reading time in middle point, by indicating on a display with digits the time that a vehicle runs for a certain distance from the state of velocity 0 and indicating on the other display the remaining distance or travelled distance with a series of a plurality of columnar segments.
SOLUTION: Fluorescent display tube 2 of a display unit 1 has a display 7 provided with segments 6 in the shape of 8 and a display 9 provided with 20 pieces of segments 6, for example, in a series of nearly elliptic shape. A driver pushes a mode selection switch 12 of a control unit 10 and set it at 0 to 400 time mode. In 0 to 400 time mode, the display 7 indicates with digits the time a vehicle takes to run 400m, for example, from the state of velocity 0 and the display 9 turns off every 5 segments, for example, at every running of 100m, quarter of 400m and indicates the remaining distance. By this, the driver can read the time in the middle points from the display 9.
