In this indirect heating type rotary drier, a number of heat transfer pipes 21 are circularly disposed on the whole inner peripheral part excluding an axis section, of a rotary drier body 1 in a cylindrical rotary drier body 1, a number of supporting members 41 projecting toward the axis section of the rotary drier body 1, are disposed on an inner peripheral face of the rotary drier body 1, and the heat transfer tubes 21 are supported by the supporting members 41. Projecting ends 43 of the supporting members 41 adjacent to each other in the peripheral direction of the rotary drier body 1 are respectively connected with each other through rod bodies 45.
