Abstract:
To provide an indirect hot-line tool for improving workability when performing work of compressing a sleeve inserted at a tip of an electric wire.SOLUTION: A compression pliers 1 is an indirect hot-line tool mounted on an insulating operating rod 100 having a pair of gripping arms 101A, 101B at one end thereof and having an operating handle for opening and closing a pair of gripping arms at the other end thereof, includes: a compression head 10 for compressing a sleeve; a pair of compression arms 20, extending from the compression head, mounted to a pair of gripping arms, closed along with closing the pair of gripping arms when closing the compression head; a first opening and closing mechanism 30 for permitting a closing operation of the compression head and prohibiting an opening operation of the compression head; and a second opening and closing mechanism 40, interposed between one gripping arm of the pair of gripping arms and one compression arm of the pair of compression arms, for closing the pair of compression arms along with closing the pair of gripping arms and opening the pair of gripping arms without opening the pair of compression arms.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2A
