PURPOSE: To allow an indirect-ignition fixing device to be used with no danger by arranging moving means for moving a reciprocating member so as to drive the reciprocating member across an ignition position when it is used for fixing a plate formed of steel to a metal or concrete supporting structure with a fixing part.
CONSTITUTION: An indirect-ignition fixing device has a combustion chamber 3 for storing powder explosive 62 and an inertial member in a barrel 60 driven by combustion gas generated with the ignition of the powder explosive 62. A fixed part 39 on the other hand has the tip stored in a sleeve 35 for a guide member 7 via a tube, so that the fixed part 39 can be moved in matching with an end portion 21 with the operation of a reciprocating member 34 driven by the slide of a finger member via a rod 11, an oscillating lever, etc. The fixed part 39 is impacted by the combustion gas generated in the combustion chamber 3 and driven into a fixed position. When the reciprocating member 34 arrives at an ignition point 25, its movement is absorbed by a compression braking spring as braking means.
