To partly freely set a photographic print transfer range by using a color ribbon with a plurality of color ink image face parts, an Indian ink image face part and an image-receiving ink image face part and an intermediate transfer film without an image-receiving layer and, transferring the ribbon to a body to be transferred after overwriting and transferring the ribbon to the intermediate transfer film.

A color ribbon 10 is formed by repeating 6 image face arrangements of an image-receiving ink image face part, a color ink image face part, an Indian ink image face part and an adhesive ink image face part on a base material 12. The color ribbon 10 and an intermediate transfer film 20 are drawn out from let-off rollers and sent into between a thermal head 40 and a platen roller 60. An optional range of the image-receiving ink image face part on the color ribbon 10 is photographically printed and transferred by the thermal head 40 onto the intermediate transfer film 20, thereby forming an image-receiving part layer. Thereafter, an optional range in each ink image face part of the color ribbon 10 is overwritten and transferred, and subsequently the adhesive ink image face part is overwritten and transferred. The color ribbon is transferred in due time by a heat roller 50 to a body 30 to be transferred.
