To provide a practical method and system individually managing a game machine using ID information specific for a CPU.
It is supposed that this game machine is equipped with the CPU storing the ID information securing uniqueness in an internal memory. A first information means reads ID information from the CPU of the game machine manufactured by a game machine maker and stores it by being linked with first additional information indicating characteristics of the game machine. A second information means reads out ID information from a CPU of the game machine installed in a game parlor and stores it by being linked with second additional information indicating the characteristics of the game machine in the game parlor. A third information processing means connected to the first and second information processing means via a network means receives the ID information and the first and second additional information from the first and second information processing means and stores the ID information as common information by linking the first with the second additional information.
