The absorptive article 1 in the individual package 10 includes a longitudinal direction groove part arrangement area B provided with a longitudinal direction groove part 5 and longitudinal direction groove part non-arrangement areas A and C not provided with the longitudinal direction groove part 5 in an article longitudinal direction X. The areas A and C are positioned respectively at the front and the back in the article longitudinal direction X with the area B interposed therebetween and are adjacent to the area B. The absorptive article 1, together with a packaging material 9, is folded in an article width direction Y at first folding lines L1 and L2 extending in the article longitudinal direction X through the longitudinal direction groove part 5, and is further folded in the article longitudinal direction X at second folding lines L3 and L4 extending in a direction Y crossing the first folding lines L1 and L2. On a skin non-abutting surface in the areas A and C of the absorptive article 1, an adhesive part 7 for fixing the absorptive article 1 to clothes is provided so as to be over the first folding lines L1 and L2 in the article width direction Y.
