To maintain the sanitary condition of a pad by covering the surface sheet completely, while enabling it to be taken out easily and eliminating individual packaging failure which arises in the manufacturing line.

The packaging sheet 10 is an approximately rectangular shape made of a pair of longitudinal rims 11a and 11b and a pair of short rims 12a and 12b, the side of the sheet attaching to the pad is processed for separation and a perforated line 16 is formed along the longitudinal rim at the position near the longitudinal end 11b. A pad 1 is placed on the surface processed for separation of the packaging sheet 10, both the sides of the longitudinal ends of the packaging sheet are folded to the side of the liquid permeable front sheet 3 one on another. In this state, the perforated line 16 of the packaging sheet 10 is located in approximately the middle of the pad 1. The overlapped part is bonded with a linear adhesion 14 and the short rim ends 12a and 12b on the front and back ends are sealed with the heat seal 17. The packaging sheet 10 and the pad 1 are folded in the longitudinal direction one on another and bonded with a tag tape 15.
