Abstract:

To provide an indoor machine of an air conditioner capable of preventing retention of water droplets and drops of water droplets at a part where condensation tends to build up such as a periphery of an outlet.

This indoor machine of an air conditioner is provided with: an inlet 14; a heat exchanger 11; a blower 12; the outlet 10; an air duct expansion part 9 arranged on the side of the outlet 10, and formed at a position recessed from a front panel 2 covering the periphery of the outlet 10 for expanding the air duct on the side of the outlet 10; a dummy part 5 arranged on the upstream side of the air duct expansion part 9; a groove part 4 arranged in the dummy part 5 and comprising a plurality of minute grooves 4a generally vertical or tilted in a front view; and a dew reception part 6 located at the lower end of the groove part 4 for recovering condensed water generated in the groove part 4.
