To facilitate assembly and reduce the cost by reducing the number of parts of an indoor machine of an air conditioner.
A first indoor heat exchanger 9 comprises an upper heat exchanger 9a where its upper end is inclined backwardly, a rear heat exchanger provided on the upper end of the upper part heat exchanger 9a and inclined backwardly in a reverse V shape, and a lower heat exchanger 9c provided substantially vertically on the lower part of the upper heat exchanger 9a. A second indoor heat exchanger comprises the upper heat exchanger 9a and the lower heat exchanger 9c. A second indoor heat exchanger is disposed on an air duct 7 where the first heat exchanger 9 and the second heat exchanger can be disposed. In this case, a shielding plate 15 is integrally provided on a filter guide 14 mounted on the upper end of the upper heat exchanger 9a for shielding between the upper end of the upper heat exchanger 9a and the back surface of the air duct 7 to reduce the number of parts whereby assembly is facilitated and the cost is reduced.
