To provide an air conditioner which can be smoothly operated without causing rattling by supporting a rotary shaft of a fan for an evaporator without greasing.
An air conditioner has a regrigerating cycle prepared by connecting a closed compressor, a condenser, a pressure reducer, and an evaporator sequentially by means of a refrigerant pipe. The air conditioner has an interior unit housing at least an evaporator 2 and a fan 3 for the evaporator. One end of a rotary shaft 6 of the fan 3 is connected to a rotary shaft of a driving motor 7. The other end of the rotary shaft 6 of the fan 3 is rotatably inserted into a bearing made of a resin having dynamic friction coefficient of 0.1 or lower. The coefficient is measured by the use of S45C as mating material through the method stipulated by JIS K7125. The bearing is arranged in an auxiliary bearing made of vibration proof material.
