PURPOSE: To provide an indoor unit of iar conditioner, in which back and lower faces of a box-like casing for the indoor unit are covered with a fixture plate used for fixing the indoor unit, instead of providing heat-insulating material at the back and the lower faces of the box-like casing, in the manner that drain may drop downward along the back face of the casing, whereby it is prevented that drain of water be blown out into the room to be air-conditioned, together with cool air.
CONSTITUTION: In an indoor unit of air conditioner, in which heat exchanger 4 and cool-air diffusing fan 6 are provided in a box-like casing 2, back and lower faces of the casing 2 are covered with a fixture plate 11 used for fixing the indoor unit, so as to prevent that drain water be blown out, together with cool air, into the room to be air-conditioned.
