Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner which suppresses insects in a room to be air-conditioned from approaching an object such as a person and promotes extermination of the insects.SOLUTION: An indoor unit of an air conditioner disposed in a room to be air-conditioned includes: a sensor 68 capable of detecting a detection object; an insect repellent device 82 forming an insect repellent zone around at least the detection object; an insect eliminating device eliminating insects; and a control part 80 making the insect repellent device 82 operate so as to form the insect repellent zone around the detection object, when the sensor 68 detects the detection object, and making the insect eliminating device operate when the sensor does not detect the detection object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
