Title:
INDUCED TRAVEL CONTROLLER FOR UNMANNED VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3191957
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable the induced travel of an unmanned vehicle freely turnably linking front and rear car bodies accurately along a scheduled traveling route and to accurately execute the induced travel along the schedule traveling route even when the unmanned vehicle is inclined forward/backward or to right and left.
CONSTITUTION: A CPU 2 selects two pairs of pickup coils out of two pairs of pickup coils (FR, FL) and (MR1, ML1) arranged at the front and rear parts of the front side car body of the unmanned vehicle and the two pairs of pickup coils (MR2, ML2) and (RR, RL) arranged at the front and rear parts of the rear side car body corresponding to the size of the relative posture angle of the front side car body to the rear side car body calculated based on the outputs of these respective pickup coils. Based on the detecting values of these two pairs of selected pickup coils, the deviation of the unmanned vehicle to a guide line is exactly calculated and based on this deviation, the induced travel of the unmanned vehicle along the guide line is accurately executed.
