Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for uniform induction heating of a work with no temperature unevenness.SOLUTION: In an induction heating apparatus including a transport device 10 for transporting a rotatable work W along a linear guide transport path P, and a heating coil for induction heating the work W being transported along the guide transport path P, the transport device 10 includes a first shaft member 11 and a second shaft member 12 arranged in parallel while separated from each other, and a rotary mechanism 6 for rotary driving at least one (second shaft member 12) of both shaft members 11, 12 around its axis. The second shaft member 12 consists of a screw shaft having a spiral protrusion 13 provided along the outer periphery thereof, and forms the guide transport path P by the groove bottom surface 15 of a spiral groove 14 defined in the second shaft member 12 by the spiral protrusion 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
