Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker having a plate made from glass that may be crystallized glass or non-crystallized glass.SOLUTION: An induction heating cooker comprises: a plate 3 made from non-crystallized glass which is disposed on the top face of a main body and on which an object to be heated is to be mounted; a heating coil that is below the plate 3 and inside the main body 2; a temperature detection element for detecting temperature of the object to be heated; an inverter for supplying power to the heating coil; and control means for controlling the inverter on the basis of a result of the detection by the temperature detection element. A window member 3a having an infrared permeation characteristic better than that of the plate 3 is provided in the plate 3 at a position facing the temperature detection element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
