Abstract:
To prevent a supporting rod for supporting an induction heating mechanism from rotating, when a rolling bearing for the rod becomes rotation disabled.
A rolling bearing 10 and a sliding bearing 14 are installed between the drive shaft 2 of roller 1 and a support rod 9. When the rolling bearing 10 goes into abnormal rotation, torque is transmitted from the drive shaft 2 to the support rod 9 via the rolling bearing 10. Until the torque is transmitted to the support rod 9, however, a slippage is generated between the bearing 10 and rod 9 owing to the action of the sliding bearing 14. With this slippage, the rod 9 will not make turn with co-rotation.
