Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction melting furnace capable of operating stably even when the load conditions fluctuate significantly.SOLUTION: A control circuit 10 has a first current constant control circuit performing current constant control by proportional integration feedback control based on an output current signal (d) detected by a current detector 52, a second current constant control circuit performing current constant control by proportional integration feedback control based on the output current signal (d) detected by the current detector 52, and a voltage constant control circuit performing voltage constant control by proportional integration feedback control based on the output voltage signal (e) detected by a voltage detector 53. Control signals for IGBT inverters 42a, 42b are generated by selecting the maximum value out of the output values from the first current constant control circuit and second current constant control circuit and voltage constant control circuit, and the time constant of integration control of the first current constant control circuit is larger than that of the second current constant control circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
