Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction melting furnace capable of achieving exact management of a retention temperature even when the amount of molten metal varies at every tapping.SOLUTION: A controller 100 heats and melts a heated material Y stored in a melting furnace body X until a measurement temperature by second temperature measurement means 9B reaches a preset temperature in a heating process of heating the heated material and calculates holding power from a measurement temperature by first temperature measurement means 9A and a mass of the heated material Y measured by weight measurement means 8 in a tapping process after heating and melting.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
