Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for reducing the manufacturing cost of an induction motor.SOLUTION: The induction motor includes: a rotor core having a shaft hole; a shaft which passes through the shaft hole and in which a male screw is formed on the outer peripheral surface; a plurality of bars which are arranged in the axial direction inside the rotor core and whose both ends are exposed from the end faces of the rotor core in the axial direction; a first ring having electrical conductivity, being in contact with the end portions of the plurality of bars at one end face of the rotor core, and screwed with the male screw of the shaft; and a second ring having electrical conductivity, being in contact with the end portions of the plurality of bars at the other end face of the rotor core, and screwed with the male screw of the shaft to fix the rotor core by holding it between the first ring and itself.
