To provide an induction synchronous motor in which assembling workability and production cost of a rotor are reduced sharply and operation performance of the motor is enhanced.
A plurality of diecast secondary conductors 5B are provided on the periphery of a rotor yoke part 5A constituting the rotor 5 of an induction synchronous motor 2. End rings 68 and 69 are diecast integrally with the secondary conductors 5B on the periphery of the opposite end faces of the rotor yoke part 5A. A permanent magnet 31 is inserted into a slot 44 penetrating the rotor yoke part 5A. Openings at the opposite ends of the slots 44 are closed with a pair of end face members 66 and 67 composed of a nonmagnetic body. One end face member 67 is secured to the rotor yoke part 5A by one end ring 69 at the time of molding the secondary conductors 5B and the end rings 68 and 69. The other end face member 66 is secured to the rotor yoke part 5A by a securing metal (rivet) 66A.
