Title:
INDUCTIVE CIRCULATION GAS DISCHARGE DEVICE FOR MOLTEN METAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009012025
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an inductive circulation gas discharge device where the retaking of a gas from the surface of a molten metal or the like does not occur, the gas in the molten metal can be released, thus the generation of blow holes at the inside of a casting or the like caused by the remaining gas is suppressed, and the embrittlement thereof is prevented.

The inductive circulation gas discharge device for a molten metal comprises: an inductor 1 arranged so as to surround a cylindrical outer duct 10, generating a shifting magnetic field, and pumping up the molten metal inside the outer duct 10; and a cylindrical inner duct 6 provided at the inside of the outer duct 10, flowing back the molten metal pumped up through the outer duct 10, wherein the wall part of the inner duct 6 is stored with a core 7 of a magnetic substance forming the magnetic path of the shifting magnetic field between the inductor 1.
