To provide an inductor component with a permanent magnet which can be manufactured efficiently with a high mass-productivity without damaging magnetic bias characteristics.
The inductor component comprises an E-type lower soft-magnetic magnetic core 2a formed with a middle leg at the center, an E-type upper soft- magnetic magnetic core 2b formed with a middle leg at the center, and a square frame-like winding 3 and a U-shaped permanent magnetic la, which are held between the magnetic cores 2a and 2b. The square frame-like winding 3 is wound by attractive force around the square plate-like projecting parts of the E-type lower soft-magnetic magnetic core 2a and the E-type upper soft-magnetic magnetic core 2b to be built up as an exciting coil. By a magnetic field of the U-shaped permanent magnet 1a located near the E-type lower soft-magnetic magnetic core 2a and the E-type upper soft-magnetic magnetic core 2b, a DC magnetic bias is applied to a magnetic field generated by magnetomotive force by the square frame-like winding 3. The U-shaped permanent magnets 1a are cut out in pairs from square cut-out unit regions adjacently and continuously marked off in a magnet base material board, with as little-waste part left over as possible.
