PURPOSE: To obtain an inductor having a short coil length, a small stray capacitance and a high Q by forming it on the front and rear surface of a substrate by overlapping inductor patterns in such a manner that the directions of currents become the same.
CONSTITUTION: A first layer inductor pattern 2 on the front surface of a substrate 1 is connected with a second layer inductor pattern 3 on the rear surface by means of a through-hole 2b. In this case, the first layer inductor pattern 2 on the front surface and the second layer inductor pattern 3 on the rear surface are so formed that their arcs will be overlapped each other. And a current to a single side terminal 2a of the first layer inductor pattern 2 on the front surface of the substrate 1 is applied to the first layer inductor pattern 2, and then applied to the second layer inductor pattern 3 on the rear surface of the substrate 1 through the through-hole 2b, and to a terminal 3a at the other end. In this case, a current flowing through the first layer inductor pattern 2 and a current flowing through the second layer inductor pattern 3 are applied in the same direction as marked by an arrow.
