Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the satisfactory low pass effect of an optical low pass filter in the shape of a diffraction grating even when an object is comparatively bright by providing a mechanical shutter and electronic shutter, selecting the shutters according to an exposure and controlling the numerical aperture of the light quantity adjusting means. CONSTITUTION:The mechanical shutter 5 and the electronic shutter are provided, these shutters are selected according to the exposure and the numerical aperture of the light quantity adjusting means is controlled. Consequently, when a photometric exposure is smaller than a prescribed value, the mechanical shutter 5 is selected, and whereas when the exposure is larger than the prescribed value, the electronic shutter which is provided on a solid-state image forming device 3 is selected. Thus, even when the object is comparatively bright, the satisfactory low pass effect of the diffraction grating type optical low pass filter can be obtained.
