To provide industrial belts such as a dryer canvas for papermaking machine, a transportation belt for papermaking machine and transportation belts for various industries, improved in stain resistance and stain removability by cleaning, dealing with abrasion of warps on the surface of woven fabric and preventing reduction of warp tenacity under high-temperature and high-humidity use conditions.

The industrial belt has warps 11, a weft layer 33 at a side 31 to be brought into contact with paper and a weft layer 34 at the side 32 not to be brought into contact with paper in which at least the weft layer 33 at the side 31 to be brought into contact with paper is composed of a woven fabric obtained by alternately arranging a thick weft 21 and a thin weft 22. The warps 11 have first warps 12 forming first warp knuckles 14a by weaving the thin weft 22 inside and forming warp knuckles 16a by weaving inside a weft 23 at the side 32 not to be brought into contact with paper and second warps 13 forming warp knuckles 15a by weaving inside the thick weft 21 at the side to be brought into contact with paper and forming warp knuckles 17a by weaving inside the weft 23 at the side not to be brought into contact with paper. The first warp knuckles 14a are positioned closer to inside in the thickness direction of the woven fabric than to the surface 35 at the side to be brought into contact with paper.
