In the industrial combustion device 1 having a housing 3 fixed to a furnace body 2, combustion air is introduced from an inlet 8 into the housing and the combustion air introduced into the housing is made to pass through a first passage 7B for the heat exchanger 7. Then, the combustion air passing through the first passage 7B for the heat exchanger 7 is introduced through an introduction passage 6 to a nozzle 4 to allow the combustion of a fuel in a combustion chamber by a combustor 5. Exhaust gas produced in the combustion chamber 10 after the combustion flows in a second passage 7A for heating the combustion air passing through the first passage 7B. The exhaust gas is exhausted from an outlet 9 to the outside after heat exchange. A thermal stress absorbing member 13 having heat insulating function is laid between the housing 3 and the heat exchanger 7.
