Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial furnace and an ignition method of the industrial furnace capable of completing the ignition of a pilot burner at one time by continuing an ignition operation longer.SOLUTION: The industrial furnace includes: a pilot burner 6 provided in each of main burners 2 for forming main flames by receiving fuel for main combustion and air for main combustion to form a pilot flame for igniting the main flames; a flow switch 52 for measuring the flow rate of the air for main combustion; and a control mechanism for feeding the air for main combustion to the main burners when pilot fuel is fed from a single fuel feeding pipe 7 to each of pilot burners and pilot air is fed from a single air feeding pipe 8 to each of the pilot burners to form the pilot flame, and also stopping a forming operation of the pilot flames when satisfying Xa/(Xa+Y)≥Z, <>.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
