Abstract:
To provide an industrial furnace capable of suppressing wear of components such as a fan and reducing a cooling time for an object to be treated.SOLUTION: An industrial furnace 10 comprises: a pressure container 12; a heat insulation container 16 arranged in an internal space 14 of the pressure container 12 and provided with a heat insulation container body 50 having an opening and a heat insulation container cover 52 opening/closing the opening; a heater 20 arranged in an internal space 18 of the heat insulation container 16; a fan 38 arranged in an internal space 14 of the pressure container 12; a thermometer 40 measuring the temperature of a gas in the internal space 14 of the pressure container 12; and a driving device 54 moving the heat insulation container cover 52 in accordance with the temperature measured by the thermometer 40 so as to cause the heat insulation container cover 52 to open/close the opening of the heat insulation container body 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
