Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot capable of safely used in fields of food, medical care, and sanitation. SOLUTION: A slider 3 is supported by a linear guide 2 on a column 1 fixed on an installation base BS so as to perform straight motion. The rotation of a first shaft motor 4 is converted into straight motion by a ball screw 5 whose both ends are supported by bearings 6, 16. A second shaft motor 8 drives a second shaft arm 7 through a gear 10 and a decelerator 9. A third shaft motor 12 drives a third shaft arm 11 through a gear 20 and a decelerator 19. A fourth shaft motor 13 drives a working tool 15 through a gear 30 and adjusts the direction of it. Edible lubricating oil is used for respective decelerators 9, 19, the gears 10, 20, 30, the ball screw 5, the linear guide 2 and the bearing 6. A material harmless to the human body, for instant, a fluorocarbon resin material is used in consideration of abrasion of oil seals 15, 25, 35 into which edible lubricating oil is to be filled.
